My only fear is that they mite have separate criteria for selecting students for other courses. Wat i mean is that it can't be said for sure that if u have been waitlisted for PGDM, u will be wait listed for BFS or IB. If this is the case, then i am in for trouble.
Hey, Twinkle. The guys who were shortlisted in the first list were given the deadline of 10th May to pay the first installment. And the second list was then declared on 11th May. So, if you go by that logic, the next list (if any!!) should be declared on 21st May.
For PGDM- 28th May is the expected date.. a list of 150 people.
For other courses like BFS and IB- Anytime after 20th May.. this is the latest release from admission office..
Yup..I'm just wondering what will the short listing criteria be for other courses. We've had a case where a person who didn't opt for PGDM got selected for it. Will he now be considered for BFS and IB? That's some food for thought... There really should've been a bit more transparency in the selection criteria.. Newayz, no option but to wait till the other courses results are announced or till there's more movement in the PGDM Wait List!

How worth is it joining TAPMI after 4 years of Experience? What is the pecentage of people in TAPMI with 3 plus years of Experience?
@Rakeshn
The post above by a senior should give you the info you require.
Regarding whether you should take admission or not, I guess that is a personal decision that you should make as ONLY you know what your aim in life is. Possible criteria that you should consider would include current pay package, current company and role, expected value addition in terms of both knowledge and profile after a PGDM at TAPMI etc etc among others.
Sudip sir was kind enough to entertain all my queries. He told me that my wait list no is a little beyond 150, so there is an outside chance to convert into these 120 seats otherwise if they get approval for rest of the 60 seats for PGDM then my chances are good bcoz the wait list movement is big.
On the other hand he said, you stand a very good chance for sectoral programmes, list of which is expected on/after 20th of this month. :clap::cheers:
Then I asked him, if they dont get approval for those 60 seats for PGDM programme then will they go woth Manipal univ? then he replied, no for PGDM it has to be approved by AICTE If they don't get approval then 120 seats only. But for sectoral programme either AICTE or Manipal univ.
My take on this is sectoral programes are gonna start, its just a decision away. Admission for PGDM may get stretched depending AICTE approval.
I was also told the same thing. my waitlist according to Sudip sir is around 300 and chances of admission into PGDM is very less however chances of getting admission into other courses are high and the notification for that will come out only after 20th or most probably 28th.
could not find any info except egoistic attacks aand discussions...cribbing and spamming in past few pages

As said earlier that classes start from 1 july Is it mandatory to be there on 1 july. My notice period is disturbing me a lot.
It is Mandatory to be in college on 1st July. The first 2 days are normally induction and the fun starts from day 1 itself. However, in extreme cases you might be exempted from joining on 1st July. You need to get prior approval from the admission dept.
Ya i understand abt the fun ,its best to be on time always but in case if there's a issue i cant solve and get late by few days (say 5-6) ,will that be a problem.
just asking........... i hope nothing comes in my way to tapmi........
