nd yes Ab kuch karne ka waqt aa gya....fr the tym being shayad sone ka....

There are two quantities a & b satisfying the relationship
(a+x)(x-b) = 64. Which of the following holds true?
1) a+b> 16 2) a+b = 16 3) a+b

Yaar at x = 0, a = -b => a+b = 0 hoga. Hence, Option c is a possibility.
Also random solving se I'm getting a+b = 30 and -63 too. :|
a & c both satisfying but a + b is not coming as 16 in any case.

To option a hoga ans phir :/ kyuki equal to 16 nai ho sakta :mg:

Yeah I assumed so but then what about the other values that are satisfyin..?? Why are they not worth to be called as "official" answer...Unka kya Dosh :P

^ mai Kya bakwaas kar rahi hu, bhool jao. 😐

Answer the questions based on the following table.

Machine M1 as well as machine M2 can independently produce either product P or product Q. The time taken by machines M1 and M2 (in minutes) to produce one unit of product P and product Q are given in the table below: (Each machine works 8 hour per day).

Product M1 M2
P______ 10_8
Q_______6_6

178. What is the least number of machine hours required to produce 30 pieces of P and 25 pieces of Q respectively?

a. 6 hr 30 min
b. 7 hr 24 min
c. 6 hr 48 min
d. 4 hr 6 min

179. If the number of units of P is to be three times that of Q, what is the maximum idle time to maximize total units manufactured?

a. 0 min
b. 24 min
c. 1 hr
d. 2 hr

180. If equal quantities of both are to be produced, then out of the four choices given below, the least efficient way would be

a. 48 of each with 3 min idle
b. 64 of each with 12 min idle
c. 53 of each with 10 min idle
d. 71 of each with 9 min idle
@anupam001 , @FSOG , @raven_007 , @nits2811 and others, kindly...^^

first one easy 4 hours 6 min

2nd one and 3rd one ambiguous..
2nd i will go for 24 min
3rd no clue what the question is saying
ratio wise would have gone for c :P

178.a
179.a
180.
