I have cleared both dse and ubs what should i choose? My rank is 47 in general list so someone said there are only 36 seats in gen category? So will i convert.

I've already rejected the following colleges coz of the upcoming recession & uncertainities-IMT-G(Marketing),IMI New Delhi,IIM Jammu,IIM Bodh Gaya,TAPMI.
I wanted to prepare for CAT 2020 but there's too much work pressure @ office & I can't assure a 99+ percentile for CAT 2020 tbh hence I'll get the top New IIMs in the best case scenario.
Now I'm having second thoughts due to the above reasons + good ROI@UBS .
ps- roi is important here coz I'm seeing ppl at prestigious colleges remaining unplaced(or placed at a low package) with 16-17 lakh loan on their heads.
Any suggestions?

What are the placement scenario of MBA EP
I just saw the result for UBS MBA. It is nothing but very humbling to get Rank 1. I would like to thank you guys in this forum for supporting me with important info time and again. I would like to thank the staff and teachers at UBS, who have stepped up in these difficult times to complete the admission process.
I would also like to thank the forum admins for their support here, howsoever intermittent and rare it was. But then again, we understand these are difficult times and so the result got late.
I am happy that my "5" repeated visits (from Panchkula to PU, just for submitting that application) paid off. I guess there is always 1 document that's missing in your application. In a way, the offline system has its own benefits. I can now write travelling as my hobby.
The online GDPI 'process' was very difficult, though the GDPI was easy. Students were asked to stay attentive in the chatroom until their names were called. There were about 20 students in the chatroom, called one at a time for interview. And mine took approx 2.5 hrs waiting time. Everytime they called a student's name, he/she had was expected to answer immediately. This was very frustrating for me.
This is an Indiawide culture in general, I guess. But it needs to change. I have been at job interviews and waited long hours and sometimes an entire day, for my interviews. I guess if someone is applying at your institution/organisation, for education/job, he is not your slave and his time must be valued. The GDPI process could have been better- by reducing waiting lines to 5-6 students each, or giving prior time slots.
Also, I would like to quote the good things. The document verification process was sort of an ice-breaker, which really helped before the PI. Staff was very polite and supportive.
Overall, I believe the process was good, barring a few hiccups here and there. I hope the life at Uni would be better.

Hello everyone! Hope you guys are doing fine. We have seen that there are a lot of posts comparing UBS with other colleges and doubts as to which one to join. We can completely understand your concern for your future but asking these questions to your peers may be of no use, as most of them are at the same level as you. There will surely be some genuine opinions which you might get here but along with that, there will also be some people trying to make up their own seats leading to more chaos and confusion for you. So we will urge you to rather do research on your own, read online reviews, ask your mentors, known alums, etc, and finally, try to make an opinion keeping in mind your present situation and future goals. Rest is your choice. All the best!
