Chances for home state posting is very less guys don't expect that. Girls mostly will get home state posting. However with expansion going on in north, you can hit the jackpot 😛

And with mergers coming closer I don't feel it should matter.

i am from Maharashtra.I really don't want to go to southern states because of language problem.Can I ge thome state northern states?

how a person from Kerala will servive in UP,or person from Punjab in Chennai,or person from Karnataka to Bihar. 

         I am 100% sure they don't post anybody anywhere.If they do such things then employees will leave bank as soon they get something else.

        You can expect placement in fixed zone like person from MAHARASHTRA may get MH,MP,GJ or mostly CG
