I think there is some confusion regarding the extra 1 mark given in the Quants section. I didnt attempt the withdrawn question and I didnt get any extra marks. Few attempted and got marks, few didnt attempt and got the marks.
I have mailed XAT team to get clarification on the marks for that question but got no reply. ๐
Can anyone explain how 65 percent weightage given to xat taken into account? Like, is the marks or the actual percentile taken into account for getting the xat share in the final merit list. Dhanyawad ,tia _/\_
Okay so because of all the ambiguity of incorrect answers and wrong question in XAT - 2016 , I was expecting that the percentile vs percentage for this year will be on similar lines as compared to last few years (even though an extra half an hour was there and supposedly the paper was easier as compared to before).
But I was really surprised to see on PG that so many people have scored in thirties and so many of them scoring in mid and high 30s. I am absolutely clueless as to what score will fetch what percentile. Any idea people ?
Guys please help me ..how to go about calculating total score... (positive score) - (negative score) and that's it? what about the unattempted questions?
Though XLRI ย has been very transparent , I dont understand why they cant fix a date of result such that the aspirants dont waste their time speculating thingsย
