So here is my take. What I have noticed that all of the coaching institutes raced against each other to post result for cat ,snap but when it came to The xat " sabko saap sungh gaya". After Xat they are like " pehle aap". So my perspective is that after one of them posted their results . Others simply copied and changed a few answers so that they are not caught. So basically they are also waiting for XLRI to release the official keys so that they gain some "gyan". Pls don't bother yourself with predictions because XL is going to release official keys tomorrow. Gn

But I wanted to ask something much more interesting than the cutoffs. This is one those screw-ups that you rarely do in your lifetime!
In Paper-2, I just filled in the OMR on the GK side. By some evil twist of fate, i just didnt turn it over to write the essay. I thought (God knows why!) that we were supposed to write the essay on question paper itself and then hand it over to the invigilator. So i did that. By the time i found out my blunder, it was too late! Pleadings to the invigilator didnt help.
I know this sounds funny and stupid, but i am really worried.
Are the doors closed to me?
1. Basically, I want to ask how much weight does the essay carry, in each stage(shortlisting and then GD/PI).
2. Will I be disqualified?
3. If not, then: I know that they dont consider GK/Essay for shortlisting, but do check cutoffs at least in Paper-2 for shortlisting? If yes, do i stand a chance of clearing it? I am getting quite a decent score, 19, in GK.
4. And if I do somehow manage to get to interviews, with Paper 2 not being considered by uptil then, and supposedly i clear the cutoffs, will I be disqualified in the PI?
5. Does XIMB also consider Essay?
Just let me know, how totally has this screwed me.
