Folks every year I get a barrage of messages from people asking me "My acads are XX and my score in XAT is YY, please tell me what are my chances of getting through", and the same is happening this year. As always my response is the same-


Only 2 entities know whether you will get through or not- The panel and God. And they sure as hell aren't going to give you an answer now.


Besides I fail to see the point of knowing "probability of getting through". How does that help ? Arent you gonna prepare throughly regardless of whether you have 1% chance or 98% chance of clearing the interview ? 


I mean even if you have a .005% chance of getting through into XL mafia wouldn't you want that ? Then why waste unnecessary time on speculation on your 'chances' ? 


Please prepare hard for GDPI. It is a great leveler. People with 99  in XAT get rejected there and even people with 97 (like me) get accepted, so give it all you have.

I got 99.86 percentile (total) and shortlisted for hrm (only applied for hrm) but my gk percentile is 34.34(9/25). How and/ will this affect my gdpi. Please share your experience (wrt past batch trends).

what is basic difference between XLRI interviews as compared to other bschools' interviews? Is there anything extra that needs to be prepared specifically for XLRI or will a generic interview prep suffice?
