At my centre, around 100 people had no clue where to sit as there was no seating arrangement put up. Over that it seemed like I was standing in an ATM line after demonetization- seat khatam to baki log dusre room me line lagao. And after all that, our Biometric was done after completing the exam. Hail XAT!

Apart from the glitches others mentioned, they didnt even have enough pens for everyone at my centre
First test in Bengaluru. Invigilator ko nah hi hindi aati thi aur nah hi english. Sign language meh baat karni padhi bc!
What was your centre where you faced issue? Type name and city?
Has anyone who faced technical issues but was able to write the exam somewhat also received the mail for rexaminations or only those have who weren't able to give the exam atall.

Xat me essay kon sa tha?
A DM question for XAT 2019.
XAT conducted an exam across the country online for the first time. In 2 centers students were not able to submit their exams. While across India, there were complaints of technical glitches faced by hundreds of students during exam. Some of the glitches lasted for about 30 mins as a result many complained that it was difficult to stay focussed among the ruckus.
Which would be the most appropite step for XAT officials to take.
- Take pen and paper mode exam from next year as it is impossible to conduct online tests of so many.
- Schedule a re-exam across centers in a fair manner(preferably pen-paper mode).
- DM questions are only for examination purposes. Nothing to implement in real life situations.
- Take retest across those 2 centers and let other students down.
- Do nothing. Let it go as it is. Some complains don’t matter we are XLRI.

I agree that there were technical glitches but if exam happens again , it should be for all the candidates because the chaos all the invigilator made , many of the candidates(including me) weren't able to concentrate properly. Appreciate the effort to make XAT online but lack of discipline and no proper time management was one of the factor which is going to make a major impact in result of candidates. Hope to see a non-biased decision from the xat authority.
Just got back home after a horrible xat from a centre that was 40 kms(bus+train+uber) . computer restarted 5 times and i was among the least affected in my centre. total chaos. now given that what happened to most of us wasnt fair, could we do something about it? people who got the exam rescheduled will have an advantage if they get the same Qs(just saying). Is there any way forward or time to forget XLRI call and convert?
