how have you calculated score? i dont remember the answers
I don't know if we can question the answer key provided by XLRI and neither do I see any mis-match between the responses I marked and the responses shown in the response sheet released yesterday (This does not mean that the students claiming mis-match in their reponses are making false claims, given the shitty system XAT'18 had, it is highly likely that such a thing could have happened).
However, what I am sad about is this:
With average academics, XLRI was the only top B-School that I was targetting. And why not? I had scored well in XAT'17 (98+) and was performing consistently well in all the mocks/previous year papers (Scored 40+ in multiple previous year papers). On D-day I knew nothing could stop me from scoring a 99+ percentile.
But unfortunately, fate had something else in store for me and for thousands of other candidates. And I am not someone who would cry for small issues. The atmosphere, test systems, invigilators etc were not conducive to give a timed aptitude test. Period.
Maybe if I was a saint/monk, I would not have let all these external factors affect myself, but I am just an ordinary person who was affected by these external factors.
Yet, since it was XLRI at fault, there was hope that it would play a fair game and find a fair solution. Unfortunately, the competition in this country is so huge that institutes really don't give a shit. They know they would get their 180 odd good students.
So to all those questioning if XAT'18 was unfair. Hell yes it was! Period.
PS: Scoring 30.75 this time.

What do we have to do with application process. If you think about it then the application process of most government jobs is very tiresome but we still fill it bcz the opportunity is good.

Guys I have scored 14.25 in DM and 10.75 in quant 5 in Verbal ability how much percentile can I expect and what colleges I can apply where calling is not based on percentile as I think my VA score is less.
