well i think 20%ile for reserved n 30%ile for GEN..to get a call it's very easy to get call..
there are RD,PM, IM, FIN, MKT...courses...

well i dont have any options in hand so i wont really comment bout it though i also have some views...laters..
i need to know that i have qualified for the gd/pi to be held on april 8 /10
and have applied for "rural deve."
can the seniors throw some light upon the kind of topics stated in the gd and pi for this programme .

you didn't getting the reservation?..how in which train u r searching...dude..tatkaal me kara lena...it is not a problem...
i dont think XISS conduct GDPI except ranchi..

1st thing,try calling them around 10:30 am-11:15 am...the probability of your call being attended will be highest at that point of time...
as of change in dates are concerned,i am also facing similar problems,XISS officials told me to write an application in the name of director,XISS...he willtry to see through the matter & may change the date...

Jharkhand you might be more knowledgeable about XISS from other Pguys.Can you please tell me that is it a good choice?I am asking because i have come across some really bad things about XISS like
1. Only 20( +-5) students got placed so far.
2. Percentile as low as 30 get admission
3. Classes run from 9 AM to 1 PM only. after that there is no lord to watch you.
4. Faculty is not good. Few of them can't spell Mahindra & Mahindra. One was not able to spell "Public".
5.Placements: 30-40% are still not placed and have very thin hopes for further placement.
6. The faculty will make sure that once you move out in the cut throat job market, u will have nothing to help you in your struggle.
7. No case study methodology is followed. Faculty are very busy in campus politics rather campus pal cement. Lot of politics go on in the campus.
Note:These are not my views.Points based on information i have received.

before quoting anything,let me tell you that below-mentioned are my very personal advice & who so ever beg to differ,they can...
you are right about classes,in the first place...2ndly,there are few teachers who are good,most teachers are as per you view...
internal politics galored in XISS uptill 2008 end..however,the whole set-up(administration to admissions) has changed now...
if you can convert XISS PM(MAY ADD RD AS WELL) call,THEN IT WOULD BE TOUGH FOR YOU TO reject the offer....
all this information was given to me by a girl who is presently persuing PM from XISS...
A THUNDERBOLT TO END---LAST YEAR AGENTS CHARGED AROUND 6 LACS TO ARRANGE A PM SEAT FOR DESPARATO....SO,YOU CAN IMAGINE WHAT PEOPLE HERE THINK OF XISS PM...

Don't go after PM, RD, Marketing, Finance or IM by just their names....
If you are interested, then attend the GD/PI process, follow your heart...what you want to do ahead with the qualification, how you are going to face the comapny interviews... on-campus or off-campus is a secondary issue..so DONT go just by the facts and figures.. if you are capable then there's no one stopping you, and you will succeed...
Issues regarding faculties, placements are existing in every college, every department..if you are interested in taking up any course, if you have the zeal to pursue it..then just do it..and stop believing in grapevine

Its ranked 46 in Pguy ranking + it has XAVIER tag.I have heard both good and bad things(some pretty bad) about XISS so i am in dilemma
whether to go for it or not!In website its mentioned 30 percentile cut off for general candidates but i read some one with score of 67 percentile was not called.Mine was 78.55 percentile.
Seats are i think 120 in PM and 60 in rest half of which are reserved
