Does anyone know why XLRI starts its classes so early( June 21st) ... While other MBA programs tend to start in August-September?

Why doesn't XLRI release composite score of candidates which shows how a candidate has fared in different parameter like some of the IIMs do? So that a candidate knows where did he fall short for eg Profile, Acads, Interview etc. This would provide better clarity to candidates as well. I have seen many candidates with Higher percentiles (98.8+) with Average/ poor acads getting a straight reject despite of having a stellar profile ( Work ex + Co curricular). Is it primarily due to acads or due to bad PI? Not trying to malign XLRI or anything, genuinely need to understand the reason for the same.

What will be the common placement scenario in XLRI NCR during the post covid time? Like would people from Delhi need to fly down to JSR? If flying down to JSR is on cards, I wonder if there is enough facility for accommodation of 120 students at JSR, if people say there is enough facility I doubt why didn't they increase seats in the JSR campus itself? And in the future they plan to have 120 HRM students in XL delhi, so would the process be common in the future? I hope the common placement is not an marketing gimmick just to attract students and fill in for the debts they incured in building the campus. I would be grateful if seniors of NCR could throw some light on this matter.

I was talking to one of JSR senior. He told me that only reason NCR guys are pushing XL-NCR over other colleges is because they need students in NCR campus to help them in the common placement drive. As JSR student (senior and junior) will look-out for each other and since NCR batch is relatively weaker so unless they get good batch, the final placement would be troublesome as there won't be much support.
Can anyone shed light on this? I am wondering whether I shall go for IIM-U/T/R or XL-NCR
There is no rivalry between JSR and NCR. It is just some plain toxicity being propagated by vested interests with motives difficult to understand. A few Profs have taken combined classes, many of us are working in same companies right now, even committees are combined, professors, virtual library everything. Rest Statistics are out in the open for everyone to decide. There is no tug of war going on here, all is well.
