In order to be eligible for admission to TISS’s Masters programs, candidates must appear in the exam at TISS Mumbai, Tuljapur, Hyderabad, Guwahati, IMHST Chennai, MHAT Calicut, and G-SET Ranchi. Admissions to more than 50 Masters Degree programs are determined by TISSNET every year. The include degrees THROUGH TISSNET are: M.A. /M.Sc./ M.P.H./M.H.A.

With campuses throughout India, Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) is a publicly-funded research institute. Its main university is located in Mumbai. TISS is Asia’s oldest professional training institute for social workers. A student who has passed a bachelor’s degree can apply for TISSNET. It is essential that candidates in their final year have completed all previous papers without any backlogs (no backlogs).Candidates who have failed their final year of high school can’t apply to the institute’s courses.

How many TISS Programmes can I apply for?
Applicants are allowed to apply for the TISS program for a maximum of 3 TISS programs across 2 different campuses of TISS.
Note: The 3 different programs that a candidate is applying for must be in the same application. Filling multiple application forms is not accepted and permited.
TISSNET 2022 Exam Pattern
Tata Institute of Social Sciences National Entrance Test (TISSNET). The Tata Institute of Social Sciences administers the test, which is required for admission to the institute’s several master’s degree programs. TISSNET is the National level entrance examination that offers a flagship course MA in Human Resource Management and Labour Relations (HRM & LR) which is equivalent to an MBA -HR degree.
Exam Pattern
TISS’s National Level Examination is held online and includes questions on General Awareness, Mathematical Reasoning, and English. The questions that occur in the TISSNET examination are generally the multiple-choice question (MCQ) with carries 1 mark for each question. During the exam, there is no negative marking. TISSNET 2022 Syllabus
National Entrance Exam for TATA Institute of Social Sciences:
Every year, TATA Institute of Social Sciences holds a unique entrance exam for admission to their programs. The course offers by TATA institute of Social Sciences (TISS) are master’s in arts and Philosophy studies program and Doctoral program.
The exam of TISSNET will be conduct on February 26, 2022, the time duration of the exam between 2 pm and 3.40 pm (for a span of 100 minutes). The exam is conducte online(computer based test). The exam will be doncucted on the sane date all over India.
The following is an important detail about the TISSNET 2022 Exam:
- The paper does not conatin any negative mark.
- For all programmes, there is a single question paper.
- Paper has 100 questions with the time durtion of 100 minutes
- There is a change in the marking scheme. The marking scheme is as follows: 40 marks for General Awareness, 30 for English Proficiency, and 30 for Mathematics and Logical Reasoning
The results of the TATA Institute of Social Sciences National Entrance Test were expected to be released during the first week of February, as was the case last year. The results will be declared by the 4th of February.
TISSNET 2022 Admit Card
Every year, the Tata Institute of Social Sciences holds a nationwide entrance examination for admission to its master’s degree. With help of TISSNET, applicants will be able to take admissions into their prestigious institutes in Mumbai, Tuljapur, Hyderabad, Guwahati, IMHST Chennai, G-SET Ranchi, and MHAT Calicut. These institutes do not offer Masters’s degrees to the students. The institutes have different MA programs such as human resource management and labor relations which is available at their Mumbai campus.
The exam is a computer-based exam, the pattern of the exam is based on objective questions which are based/ related to social sensitivity, logical reasoning, analytical abilities, and also knowledge of contemporary issues. The duration of the examination is 1 hour and 40 minutes (100 minutes).

TISSNET 2022 Result
TISS Admission process will have two-stage result. First, the TISSNET result will be declared to determine the candidates who have qualified for the Pre-Written Test/PI. After the Pre-Written Test/PI, the final merit list will determine which candidates have gained admission to the courses.
To qualify TISSNET, there is a minimum 35% marks requirement. However, selection beyond this 35% qualifier is done on the basis of merit list.
- The TISSNET Result will be declared on March 23, 2022 at the official website i.e. tiss.edu.
- TISS will release the result in scorecard format.
- The final merit list of selected candidates will be displayed in 4th Week of June 2022.
TISSNET Cutoff
TISSNET is a National Entrance Test which is conducted by the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), all over India. TISSNET is an online exam which will be done on computers. With the help of TISSNET, candidates can apply for a variety of programmes at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences.
The programes offered by Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), are in the field of human resources, education, social works and urban studies. The popular programes that are offered by TISS is the degree of Master of Arts and Sciences (MA) in the field of Human Resources and Management as well as in the field of Labor relations. Considering the TISSNEST exam, there is a selection procedur, once the exam is cleaar by the candidate, there are two more rounds that needsto b clrar by the candidate in order to get an admission into the college. The other two rounds are personal interview (PI) and the group discussion (GD).
The selection procedure consists of three rounds if the TISSNET exam is to be taken into consideration. The cut off is decided only after the results are published. On the entrance exam,personal interview, and ground desicions, students are fianlly selected. There are other factors such as work experience accadmeic record and profilet of the student that for selection process.
Each year, the cutoff differs based on a variety of factors such as the difficulty level of the entrance exam that year, the total number of students who applied for the test, and the number of seats available in each of the campuses.
