The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) is a state-controlled centralised test administered by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination board. It is held for admission to a variety of private and public medical and engineering schools in West Bengal. The exam is for those who wish to continue their education after completing the 12th grade. The exam is administered once a year and is used to admit students to various undergraduate engineering and pharmacy programmes. The review for 2022 is set for April of that year. Only online applications will be accepted for this study.
In 1962, the West Bengal government established the West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam Board (WBJEEB). The board has been designated as a Statutory Body, with the authority to conduct frequent, combined, competitive entrance examinations for admission to undergraduate professional and vocational courses at any university in Bengal. It has always been focused on improving transparency through the use of cutting-edge technology. It is a prestigious exam, with approximately 300,000 candidates taking it each year, and the number is growing. Various colleges accept students based on their WBJEE scores, and the following institutions participate in this session:

WBJEE 2022 Exam Date
The exam conducting body of WBJEE has announced that the entrance exam will be held on April 30th, 2022. Morning (Paper 1) and Afternoon (Paper 2) shifts are usually held for the WBJEE exam (Paper 2).

WBJEE 2022 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for the WBJEE exam have been established by the board, and candidates who wish to take the exam must be aware of them. Only a few eligibility criteria are used by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board, and they vary depending on the course. Candidates should only fill out the application form if they meet the entrance exam’s eligibility requirements. WBJEE has established a strict policy for candidate verification. In WBJEE 2022, there will be two papers: paper 1 for mathematics and paper 2 for physics and chemistry combined. There is no limit to how many times you can take the WBJEE exam.
The following eligibility criteria must be checked by candidates:-
- Although there is no upper age limit, candidates must be at least 17 years old. Admission to the Marine Engineering Course has a maximum age limit of 25 years.
- To be eligible for the WBJEE 2022 entrance exam, candidates must have been born before December 31, 2005.
- The candidate must be an Indian citizen from any state in the country.
- Candidates will be considered West Bengal residents if they have lived in the state for the past ten years or if their parents have a permanent address in West Bengal.
WBJEE 2022 Registration
Before filling out the application form, candidates must carefully read the instructions on the official website. Once the application is submitted, it is considered final and treated as if the candidate has agreed to all of the board’s terms and conditions. If any information is found to be unfit according to the instructions, the conducting authority has the right to reject the application.
This entrance examination does not have a printed application form. Candidates must use the official website to fill out the original application form. On the official website of WBJEEB, candidates can apply online and pay using Net Banking, Credit Card, or Debit Card. The following is the application fee structure:

The application form will be available starting December 24th, 2021, and must be submitted by January 16th, 2022. Candidates should be cautious when filling out the application form’s details, as they will no longer be able to edit or modify them once the correction window has closed.
