Jaipuria Inst of Management

Aditya and Prateek finished their school to take up undergraduate program in Arts. While pursuing graduation they both decided to pursue a management program. Finally both of them got an admission in different management institutes. They chose marketing as their area of specialization. Prateek undertook a short course in selling skills and learnt the art of dealing with customers and clients. At the time of campus selection, both were placed in a MNC as management trainees with a package of Rs. 4 lacs per annum. However, in a short span, Prateek was promoted as Assistant Manager with a salary package of 6.5 lacs. One may wonder what made Prateek to attain higher position. Is it his education that contributed to his growth? One must not forget, it was the skills development and a specialized training during his Management program that made him confident and performance oriented.

Management Education a Dirty Game

Management Education is becoming a dirty game, with proliferation of B-schools across India. Resources that create pool of knowledge for the organization today, by any logical extension are being outsourced from B-schools today. But, these inputs must be well fit with the industry need. Thats where these thousands of institutions are moving into Business of Management today.

If Prateek can do then why cant others? Be it at school level or higher level, students are imparted knowledge in various subjects. But its the attitude and soft skills, students lack. This gap that starts from school remains till the time of campus recruitment. At Jaipuria Institute of Management, this is the differentiating factor, where they polish the skills and develop attitudes.

Entrepreneurial Mindset

Intrapreneurship is the term which drives the voices at corporate level today be it a small or a large company. Companies today have focus on people who love taking initiatives, seeking challenges, and innovate. Today institutes are focusing on shaping entrepreneurial mindset among students, who choose to lead tomorrow, and at our Campus this is one of the driving force among students.
