DTU (Delhi Technological University) is a state university in the Indian city of Rohini. DTU, formerly known as Delhi College of Engineering (DCE), is a University of Delhi affiliate. It has an A grade from NAAC and is ranked 36 in the NIRF rankings for 2021. DTU is currently accepting applications for the 2022-23 academic year. DTU is one of India's oldest engineering institutes. DTU, originally known as the Delhi Polytechnic Institute, was Delhi's first engineering college. TIFAC COREs (Technology Information, Forecasting, and Assessment Council's Centres of Relevance and Excellence) in Fiber Optics and Optical Communication are part of the university. TIFAC COREs is a government of India initiative that promotes industry-academia collaboration in research and development. DTU Delhi offers over 90 engineering, design, science, and management courses.
5 UG, 3 PG, and a Ph.D. degree are among the 90 courses available. The BTech program is chosen by the vast majority of candidates seeking admission to the university. DTU BTech is the institute's flagship program, with 16 specializations available. JEE Main rank and JAC Delhi Counseling are used to determine admission to the program. The DTU cutoff for the program has been raised to 1312 rank. The total program fees are INR 8.44 Lacs.
The management programs at Delhi Technical University are also well-known. The University School of Management and Entrepreneurship was established for this purpose (USME). Because of its location, the campus is also known as DTU East Delhi Campus. DTU, USME currently offers an MBA, an MBA in business analytics, a BBA, and a BA in Economics. Admission to PG courses is based on the CAT percentile, whereas admission to UG courses is based on merit. Previously, DTU management programs were only available through the D
