Procedure for Admission to DTU Delhi
The DTU admissions form for 2022 is now available. The institute has made online application forms available for BDes, MDes, MTech, MSc, and PhD programmes. Candidates interested in Design courses can apply until June 20. The registration deadline for MTech and MSc admissions is June 17 and 23, respectively. DTU PhD application form 2022 is available until June 6 on the official website.
DTU admission 2022 is competitive. Admission to the BTech programme at DTU is based on JEE Main exam scores. The current year’s examination is divided into two sessions. JEE Main 2022 Phase 1 will be held from June 20-29, followed by Phase 2 from July 21-30. DTU BBA admission 2022 is merit-based, and applications will be accepted by the second week of June.
Candidates for the BDes and MDes programmes are admitted based on UCEED or CEED scores. Candidates who have passed the exam can apply for admission until June 20. GATE or DTU entrance exam scores are required for MTech, MSc, and PhD programmes at DTU. All three programmes are currently accepting applications. The deadline for submitting MTech admission forms is June 17. DTU admission forms for MSc and PhD courses in 2022 are available until June 23 and June 3, respectively.

Admission to DTU B.Tech 2022
Full-time B.Tech programmes are available at Delhi Technological University (DTU) in 15 specialisations. Admission requires a minimum of 10+2 (PCM) with at least 60% in aggregate from a recognised board of education. However, final admission is determined by the JEE Main score, which is followed by Joint Admission Counselling (JAC).
The university also accepts applications from the best qualified candidates for B.Tech lateral entry admissions. NRI/ PIO/ Foreign Nationals candidates, on the other hand, can apply for admission through DASA (Direct Admission of Students Abroad). JEE Main scores will be used to determine admission for such candidates.

Key Points:
- 85 percent of the seats are reserved for candidates who have completed their qualifying examination at a school in Delhi or the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
- Candidates from schools outside of Delhi are given 15% of the available seats.
- SC/ST candidates have 10% of their marks relaxed, while OBC candidates have 5%.
- For PwD candidates, marks are relaxed by 10%, and for candidates in the Defense category, marks are relaxed by 5%.
- Candidates for B.Des. must have passed the Senior Secondary School Examination administered by the National Institute of Open Schooling with a minimum of five subjects.
- The BA and BBA application forms can be completed online for a fee of INR 1000.

Admission to DTU M.Tech, MDes, and MSc in 2022
DTU offers M.Tech programmes in a variety of specialisations for two years at the postgraduate level. The minimum eligibility criteria for admission is a BE/B.Tech or M.Sc in the relevant discipline with at least 60% in aggregate. Candidates with a GATE score are eligible for admission. The University does not conduct any additional tests or interviews. DTU also has an entrance test for Full-Time and Part-Time Sponsored M.Tech courses. Admission to the DTU MSc and MDes programmes is determined by entrance exam and UCEED scores. For MSc admissions, DTU holds its own entrance exam. The university only accepts CEED scores for MDes admissions.

DTU MBA & EMBA Admission 2022
DTU offers MBA (Regular) and MBA (Executive) in various specializations in Delhi School of Management (DSM) and University School of Management & Entrepreneurship (USME). Executive MBA is offered for working professionals in weekend mode only. DTU also offers Ph.D program in management as well. Any Bachelor’s degree holder with at least 60% marks in aggregate can apply for admission. Following are the specialisations being available at DTU for MBA program;

The programme has 120 seats at DSM and 60 seats at USME.
MBA admission is based on a valid CAT score followed by GD and PI, whereas EMBA admission is based on candidates’ performance in the qualifying degree and relevant work experience. A merit list will be created, and if there is a tie between two candidates, the merit list will be re-evaluated.
The candidate with the higher CAT percentile will be preferred over the candidate with the lower CAT percentile. If a tie still exists, the candidate who is older will be considered over the candidate who is younger.

Important Points
- One seat (in addition to the sanctioned intake) is set aside for Kashmiri migrants.
- The INR 1000 application fee (INR 500 for SC/ST/OBC) can be paid online.
- Final-year students may also apply if they bring their original supporting documents to the interview.
- Seats are available for MBA (Business Analytics), MBA IVM, and MBA FBE (SC-5, ST-2, General-15, OBC-9, EWS-2, and J&K Migrant – 1).
- For the EMBA programme, B.Tech, BE, B.Arch, and other degree holders must have at least three years of work experience, and BA, B.Sc, BCA, and B.Com degree holders must have at least four years of work experience.

PhD Admissions at DTU in 2022
DTU offers Ph.D. programmes in a variety of engineering and management specialisations. The programme is available in four formats:
- Full-time (scholarship or not; self-financed or sponsored)
- Working part-time (candidate working in an organisation that has MOU with DTU or Faculty or Scientist from Government undertakings and R&D labs)
- Candidates who are project staff and are working on a project sponsored by DST/ UGC/ a government agency DTU academic permanent staff member
The minimum admission requirement is a master’s degree in the relevant discipline with a grade point average of 55 percent. In exceptional cases, qualifying marks for B.Tech candidates must be 75 percent, with a track record of sound valuable research activities.
To offer admission to the Ph.D. programme, DTU conducts a screening test and an interview. Candidates who have passed the UGC NET/CSIR NET/ DBT/ JRF are exempt from the Ph.D. Screening Test. Such candidates must only appear in the interview round.

DTU Ph.D. Application Procedure: To apply for a Ph.D. programme at DTU, follow the steps outlined below.
- Download the application form from the DTU website.
- On or before the last date for receipt of the completed application form, the duly completed application form must be submitted to the university along with a demand draught for INR 1000.
Please make your Demand Draft payable to “Registrar, Delhi Technological University.” Payable in “Delhi.”
PhD Application Fee at DTU:
- INR 1000 for general/OBC/EWS;
- INR 500 for SC/ST/PWD

Criteria for DTU Reservation
Seat reservations for each branch will be made in sections of,
- 15% for Scheduled Caste, 7.5 percent for Scheduled Tribe (ST)
- 27 percent for the Other Backward Classes in the “Non Creamy Layer.”
- Persons with Disabilities receive a 5% reservation in each category.
- 10% reservation for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and 5% reservation for Defense Personnel
- Over the total number of seats, one will be reserved for Kashmiri migrants.
- 1 seat for a single girl child who has no siblings and lives in Delhi or the Delhi NCR.
