IIM Lucknow organised a music workshop for its students
The workshop aimed at creating a thorough understanding of music as a separate genre and the participants enjoyed the different nuances of drums and guitar.
Three.Four (3.4) Club was the institute club which organized the guitar and drums workshop. The workshop aimed to cultivate interest and passion among amateurs and enthusiastic musicians. With the rising interest of the students in start-ups, this could provide yet another option for students to take up as budding entrepreneurs.
Professional tutors who have played live at various musical nights took the two hours workshop. The session covered basics from different kinds of guitars to the different kinds of genres played by popular guitarists. The session was not about theory only. Members of student-run Three.Four Club, who have professional experience in music, gave live performances on the guitar to explain these genres.
