This year, admission to engineering colleges in Jharkhand is based on JCECE (Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination) 2016. The exam will be conducted in both online and pen and paper based format. The exam will assess students’ knowledge in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The 3 hours examination will have objective type questions and will consist of 50 questions each on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Each question will carry 1 mark each and there will be no negative marking for an incorrect answer.

The BA College of Engineering & Technology is based in Jamshedpur. The institute was established in 2008 and under the aegis of the Bihar Association. The institute is affiliated to Ranchi University and approved by AICTE, New Delhi.
The institute is spread over 20 acre campus are and has all the necessary infrastructure like modern classrooms, labs, library, seminar halls, hostel facilities, sports cell and transport facility.
