BPSC Assistant Engineer 2018 (Civil and Mechanical) Result declared
The BPSC AE (Assistant Engineer) exam was conducted on 15 and16 Sept 2018. The exam was conducted via offline which was OMR based test. A vast number of interested candidates appeared for this exam successfully. This year there is are 1400 vacancies for Assitant Engineer posts. The results for BPSC AE is declared now.

The BPSC AE (Asst. Engineer) recruitment process will be done in 3 steps. Firstly, preliminary examination followed by the Main exam and then finally Personal Interview. The candidates who are able to clear the cutoff for preliminary will be allowed to appear for mains exam, and those who qualify in that will be called for the Personal interview round. The candidates can download the answer keys for the BPSC AE exam that will be available on the official website of BPSC. This will help the candidates to approximately calculate the marks they would get and also can know the questions they have given wrong answers.
There were a total of 150 questions in the BPSC AE exam. The candidates who are able to clear the cutoff fixed by the authority, then they will be shortlisted by the authority. The cutoffs vary each year. Certain factors like previous year cutoffs, total vacancies, the difficulty level of the exam, the number of candidates attempted the exam etc. will influence the cutoff marks each year.
