CAT 2016 takes a leaf from Rio Paralympics – special privileges for PWDs; all can rectify errors in CAT form after submission
In a first of sorts, CAT 2016 will permit aspirants to correct errors committed on the CAT form. The scope for changes is however limited – only changes in Percentage of Marks scored, Work Experience, and Programmes Selected inputs will be allowed. This opportunity will he available on the CAT Application form Webpage from October 1-5, 2016.
CAT 2016 has decided to take the Rio Paralympics fervor a little seriously – a host of privileges for PWDs (Persons With Disabilities) have been announced. To begin with, a special help desk will be provided to cater to queries. The email for the same will be [email protected]. From October 1-5, these candidates will also be able to register, on the CAT website, for any special requirements such as wheelchair, reader etc. Those with severe visual disability, alternate questions will be provided for those questions which are extremely visual in nature, such as maps, graphs etc.
Additionally, PWD candidates will be allowed early entry into the exam hall on the day of the exam. Every exam centre will also have a Co-ordinator to help such candidates. Information about these Co-ordinators will be provided in due course.
