CBSE Examination 2020: Exam will be as per CBSE syllabus, not NCERT books – Details on cbse.nic.in
The Central Board of Secondary Education issued a notice informing that CBSE class 9, 10, 11 and 12 exams for 2020 which shall be administered based on the syllabus designated by the CBSE and not according to that given on NCERT Textbooks. The notice has been issued on the official CBSE website on 16th Oct 2019 acting as a piece of information which is very important for class 10 and 12 students who are preparing for the board exams.
The CBSE has published this circular state that NCERT books, at a certain place mentioned that particular part of the book which is not for examination/assessment.
The students are recommended to go through the CBSE class 10 and 12 syllabi uploaded by the CBSE on the official website, which is http://cbseacademic.nic.in/curriculum.html. Also adding that the students shall do their preparation for the board exam 2020 as per the CBSE syllabus and not as per the syllabus is given in the NCERT Book.

Furthermore, the board has recently published CBSE class 10 and 12 sample papers, which are now available at cbseacademic.nic.in acting as reference helping the reference as a first-year avoiding as fuss which was created at first. Additionally, marking schemes are also provided with them.
CBSE is anticipated to deliver the examination date sheet in December. The previous year it was published on December 24, and the exams for classes 10 and 12 will be held in February-March for over 17 lakh class 10 students, and over 12 lakh class 12 students keeping the competition healthy.
