The Central University of Jharkhand (CUJ) was incepted in Ranchi through the Central University Act in the year 2009 and is fully sponsored by the Central Government. CUJ is exploring international collaborations and has entered into an MOU with California State University, USA, for student and faculty exchange. CUJ has seven schools and 22 centres imparting quality education in Science, Technology, Social Science, Languages, Business Management , Journalism & Media Technologies, mostly conducting 5-year integrated courses, 2-year Masters and PhD programs.

Essential Qualification
Finance Officer
Masters Degree with at least 55% of marks or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7 point scale.
Deputy Registrar
- Master’s Degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of ‘B’ in UGC seven-point scale. ii. Nine years’ experience as Assistant Professor in AGP of Rs. 6000 and above with experience in educational administration, OR Comparable experience in research and/ or other institutions of higher education, OR Five years’ of administrative experience as Assistant Registrar or in an equivalent post.
Internal Audit Officer
By drawing officers belonging to Audit and Accounts Services or other similar organized Accounts Services in Central /State Govt./ holding analogous posts on regular basis.
Deputy Librarian
- i) A Master’s Degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation Science with at least 55% of the marks or an equivalent in a point scale wherever grading system is followed. ii) Eight years experience as a Assistant University Librarian / College Librarian. iii) Evidence of innovative library service including integration of ICT in library. iv) A Ph.D. Degree in Library Science/ Information Science / Documentation Science / Archives and manuscript keeping/Computerization of library.
Assistant Librarian

Security Officer
(i) Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized University with five years’ experience (NCC ‘C’ certificate holders will require four years’ experience) as Security Supervisor/ supervisory position in security in a Govt. Office/ Educational Institution/ Private Organization of repute or 15 years’ experience in Police/ Para-Military forces/ Armed Forces of the Union and should have held a post not below the rank of Subedar/ SubInspector (Executive) or an equivalent position with exemplary service. Private Secretary
- A Graduate from a Recognized University with Proficiency in English & Hindi and should be able to manage Secretarial duties independently. 2.
