Delhi University Released First Admission List for PG 2019

The University of Delhi (DU) has published the first merit list regarding admission for the academic session 2019-20 for the candidates who applied for the Postgraduation (PG) courses. Candidates can check the same on the official website, http://du.ac.in/adm2019/.

The admissions for the selected candidates will take place till 26th July 2019. To confirm their admissions, the selected candidates are required to pay the admission fee and come in for document verification round.

For candidates whose names are not in the first merit list, the university will announce the notification for second and third merit list on their official website. The relevant dates with events are mentioned below.

According to the official notification, the document verification will be conducted in two shifts. For morning college, it will be conducted from 10:00 AM to 02:00 PM, and for the evening college, the same will carry on from 04:00 PM to 07:00 PM. For admission in the PG course under the University of Delhi, the candidates are required to submit the required documents before 26th July 2019 the details of the documents are mentioned below.

List of documents required for PG admission in DU 2019

  • If admission is through DUET then the Admit Card of the entrance exam
  • Exam Certificate of class 10
  • Mark sheet of class 12
  • ID proof approved by the Government
  • Passport-sized photographs (4 copies)
  • Certificate or Degree of the qualifying exams
  • Certificate of Reservation, if any

Only those applicants will be eligible for admission whose marks are equal to or more as per the requirement of the university. In addition to that, a statement is required from the students that they will not be involved in any kind of ragging or harassment of fellow students. This year, 1.54 lakh students from across the country have applied for the postgraduate programmes in Delhi university.
