DRDO – Vacancies for Junior Research Fellow

The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is an agency of the Republic of India, responsible for the development of technology for use by the military, headquartered in New Delhi, India. It was formed in 1958 by the merger of the Technical Development Establishment and the Directorate of Technical Development and Production with the Defence Science Organisation. It is under the administrative control of the Ministry of Defence, Government of India.

The DRDO has invited candidates for the positions of Junior Research Fellow. The details of these vacancies are as follows :

Post : Junior Research Fellow

Location : Chandigarh

No. of vacancies : 04

Essential Qualification : Candidates should possess a Post Graduate Degree with 60% Marks in basic science with NET Qualification in the fields of Remote Sensing/GIS/Geomatics/Earth Sciences/Physics/Computers/ Glaciology/Environmental Science/Water Resources Management/ Hydrology or 

M.E. or M.Tech in first division both at Graduate and Postgraduate level in Remote Sensing and GIS/Geomatics/Geo Informatics/Water Resource Management/Hydrology

Maximum age limit : Candidate should not be more than 28 years old. 

Remuneration (as in Rs. per month) : 25,000/-

Method of selection :  Selection of the candidates will be based on Walk in interview.
