EMPI: Innovating Futures since 1994
EMPI was one of the first of its kind institutions in India to offer Entrepreneurial training through GSEM (Graduate Services in Entrepreneurial Management). Many students from those initial years of EMPI have become successful entrepreneurs.
Founder professor of IIM Ahmedabad – Udai Pareek – who also created ISTD and NHRD – enabled the inception of Udai Pareek HR Labs at EMPI Business School, under the umbrella of which a dedicated exhaustive and intensive psychometric test was created called SAFI, which was widely applauded by corporates and thought leaders.
VC-MAGTICS (Vittal Centre for Management & Governance Informatics) was opened at EMPI Business School under the leadership of Padma Bhushan N. Vittal, which has been a Think Tank in bringing together Industry, Academia and Government.
EMPI Business-School launched the first of its kind Innovation Awards in India along with the Indian Express. It was a landmark achievement in Industry and Academia.
WTI (We Think for India) was a landmark project by EMPI B-School, which led to the drafting of the Manufacturing Policy Framework for India. Prime Minister Vajpayee had released that policy document.
EMPI Innovation Parks has incubated India’s first Aerospace and Defence cluster in association with the Government of Andhra Pradesh
