High Court of Bombay at Panaji – Vacancies for the position of Civil Judge
The establishment of the Bombay High Court Bench at Panaji opened a new chapter in the long and brilliant Judicial history of this Territory. With the passing of Goa, Daman & Re-organization Act, 1987 by the Parliament conferring Statehood to Goa, the High Court of Bombay became the common High Court for the states of Maharashtra and Goa and the Union Territories of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu w.e.f. 30-05-1987.
The High Court of Bombay at Panaji has invited applications for the position of Civil Judge. The details of these vacancies are as follows:
Post No. of Vacancies Remuneration (per month)
Civil Judge 05 Rs. 27,700 – Rs. 44,770
Age limit: Not less than twenty one years and not more than –
(i) thirty-five years in the case of Advocates with three years practice.
(ii) twenty five years in case of fresh Law Graduates.
(iii) forty-five years in the case of ministerial staff.
The upper age limit is relaxable for candidates belonging to OBC/SC/ST/PWD categories.

Method of selection : The selection of the candidates will depend upon their performance in preliminary written test, final written exam and personal interview.
