Hollywood vs Bollywood
We all see both Hollywood and Bollywood movies, let’s look at some of the not-so-subtle differences.
Rab ne bana di jodi and Silver Linings
Reason for comparison: Both displayed a dance competition in which the protagonists were participating.
Rab ne bana di jodi: Here Shahrukh and his dance partner won the competition despite the fact that many of professional teams were there. But how on earth can a novice team like theirs win the competition.?This is where our film industry lags behind. They are not injecting enough reality in it.
Silver Linings: This movie is much closer to reality. Here too there is a dance competition and the participants require an average of 5 points out of 10 to save their ‘everything’ they placed on bet. But they are awarded only 5.0 to save their stakes and no more no less. Had this been an Indian movie like above the director would have given them 10 on 10 or even more if Sir Rajnikant danced with Anushka instead of less mortals like Shahrukh.
Conclusion:If you are going to watch Indian movies like above then please forgive the director for such novice acts.
Go Goa Gone and World War Z
Reason for comparison: Same theme Zombies.
Go Goa Gone: This movie showed that how only 4 guys and 1 girl fought with hundreds of Zombies and defeated them. The director treated them like they were local chain snatchers.
World war Z: This movie,on the other hand, depicted the same theme of Zombies and came with a somewhat practical solution to it. In the last even Brad Pitt confessed that the damage was irreparable and Mexico city was indeed destroyed.
Conclusion : If you are going to watch one of them then “Watch them at your own risk !!!!”.
Ek Tha Tiger and Mission Impossible
Reason for comparison:Both Salman khan and Tom cruise were Spies.
Ek Tha Tiger :This movie garnered Rs 150 crores and more which means a successful movie as far as Bollywood is concerned and also presence of Katrina Kaif helped. This movie was directed by Kabir khan and according to media reported he focused on ‘real content.’
Mission impossible: This movie is closer to reality than its Indian counterpart. The actual storyline is much more complicated, technologically more advanced, the spy is non-emotional and no love songs.
Conclusion: Except for Amir Khan, other Bollywood stars interfere too much with the movies.
