The Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati has announced a new recruitment opportunity for eligible candidates.Interested candidates must go through the notification carefully available on the official website of IIT, Guwahati.

The recruitment announced by IIT Guwahati is for the post of Field Officers.Candidates are being recruited for this post under the project named “UNISED-RAA Assessment in Arunachal Pradesh.” There are a total of 5 vacanciesavailable for recruitment. For the given post, candidates will be recruited for a period of 5 months.

The recruitment process for the post of Field Officers will comprise of a walk-in-interview. A walk-in-interview refers to an interview that is conducted by an organisation in a particular venue and does not require any pre-registration or application form fill up. The walk-in-interview will be conducted on a date and time as scheduled by IIT Guwahati.

As per the notification released by the institute, the walk-in interview is set to be conducted on 20th November, 2O19. The walk-in interview will begin from 11 am, but the candidates are advised to reach the venue of interview at least an hour before the scheduled time.

Before appearing for the exam, candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria before appearing for the interview.

Candidates can appear for the exam if they have any of the following degrees –

  • Bachelors in Science (B.Sc.)
  • Masters in Science (M.Sc.)
  • Bachelors in Education (B.Ed.)
  • Bachelors in Computer Applications (B.C.A)
  • Masters in Computer Applications (M.C.A)
  • Bachelors in Technology (B.Tech.)

The walk-in-interview will be conducted at the Energy CentreConference Room. In order to appear for the examination on the set date along with a few documents. There are a few documents that the candidates have to carry with themselves during the exam .

These include the following –

  • Application in the prescribed format
  • Educational qualification certificates
  • Certificates of experience
  • Proof of address

Besides carrying the original documents, candidates should also carry a photocopy of the documents as they will have to be submitted at the time of the interview along with providing contact details such a valid phone number and email address.

It must be noted that candidates for the post will be selected on the basis of their performance in the interview. It must also be noted that campus accommodations or TA/DA will not be provided to any candidates.
