India Post has recently announced cycle II GDS job notification to fill a total of 5476 vacancies for the posts of Gramin Dak Sevaks in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Chattisgarh. Candidates can apply online for the registration by visiting the official website of the India Post.

Earlier the recruitment process for the other cycles, including several other states has been completed and is in process for some of them. Results have been released for the recruitment process conducted in the states of Punjab, Karnataka, Bihar, Kerela, Gujarat, and Assam.

During cycle II, India Post expects to fill a total of 2707 vacancies in Andhra Pradesh, 970 vacancies in Telangana, and 1799 vacancies in Chattisgarh states. Interested and eligible candidates can submit the application form online.

This notification serves as a great opportunity for youth seeking jobs in the postal department of the country as the number of vacancies is high. The online registrations and application fee payment has begun from October 15, 2019, and will end on November 15, 2019.

However, the submissions of the online applications will commence from today, i.e., October 22, 2019. Candidates can submit their online applications until November 21, 2019.

India Post GDS Jobs 2019: Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for the India Post GDS recruitment 2019 are mentioned below. Candidates should meet the required criteria to be considered eligible for the selection process.

  • Candidate should have qualified Class 10 Board Examinations with Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects from any recognized Board of the State.
  • Candidate should also have studied the local language as a mandatory/ elective subject at least until the 10th standard.

According to the local languages of the state’s list mentioned in the official notification, the local language for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana is Telugu, and for Chattisgarh, the local language is Hindi.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply online for the recruitment by visiting the official website of the India Post. The stepwise instructions for the same are mentioned below to help the candidates.

Step 1: Visit the official website of India Post: indiapost.gov.in

Step 2: On the homepage, click on ‘online GDS recruitment.’

Step 3: A pop up will appear on the screen with a different link, visit the link mentioned in the pop-up message

Step 4: Once you’ve visited the webpage, click on ‘Stage 1-Registration.’

Step 5: Fill the registration form with the required information accurately

Step 6: Upload the scanned copies of the passport size photograph, signature, required documents/ certificates and click on the preview option to view the completed registration form and download it for future use

Step 7: Once downloaded, click on the ‘submit details’ option to submit the form

Step 8: Once submitted, pay the online application fee and fill the online application form
