ITM Navi Mumbai, held MAVERICK 6.0 an Inter batch Marketing Event

KHARGHAR,NAVI MUMBAI- “Maverick 6.0”,the sixth edition of a two-day inter batch Marketing Event was held on the 05th & 06th Aug 2016 at ITM Business School Kharghar, Navi Mumbai .This event was a mega success wherein over 700 students from PGDM,GLC & IFM participated, joined by the esteemed Guest of Honor- Mr. Sangram Chougule – Mr. Universe 2012. The students in full gusto showcased their creative talent and marketing skills based on this year’s theme ‘Types of Marketing’.

The entire campus was decorated by posters, banners, flyers and promotional material by sponsors. All the promotions were done in an innovative & creative way, both, on social media & offline. The event spread over two days included:

  • Installation and promotion of ‘Service Stations’ based on the theme.
  • Intellectual competitions like-‘Next CEO & Management 2050’ challenging the aspiring managers by simulating real-life management scenarios.
  • Zero Hour & Most Impactful Act which aimed at spreading awareness by depicting the social vices prevalent in our society.
  • Debate: Brain Wars – An informal discussion platform for the students to bring out the creativity and thoughtfulness on varied topics.
  • A Presentation throwing in some insights of the efforts by the students for Maverick 6.0, which aptly marked the conclusion of the event.

Maverick 6.0 was a set up to get a hands-on experience for the students by giving them a good amount of learning on people skills to connect with the corporates for sponsorships, team building, leadership and implementing strategies to achieve the goals set in the events. During these two days visits by corporates for various events also took place.

The event, thus, over a period of 2 days along with the month long student- faculty co-ordination was highly successful, appreciated and enjoyed by all.
