This year the admissions to undergraduate engineering courses available at various engineering colleges will be conducted by Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES) for only those students who have valid JEE Main 2016 scores. The Haryana State Technical Education Society is under the Directorate of Technical Education, Haryana.
This year, admission to engineering colleges in Haryana will be based on JEE(Main) 2016 scores and the Class XII scores of the candidate in the ratio 60:40. The JEE (Main) 2016 paper and pen mode exam has been scheduled on 03/04/2016 whereas the online objective paper will be held on 09/04/2016 and 10/04/ 2016. This 3-hour paper will assess students’ knowledge in Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics. The paper will have 90 questions worth 360 marks. Every correct answer will earn you 4 marks, while 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.

The Kalpi Institute of Technology is based in Ambala and is affiliated to the Kurukshetra University. The institute was established in 2008 by Om Shri Thakur Ji Educational Society. It is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Haryana.
The institute is spread over a 10 acre campus and has all the necessary infrastructure like a labs, library, workshops, cafeteria, health center, sports infrastructure and transport facility. The college conducts college fests and other CSR activities such as Blood Donation Camps and Tree Plantation.
