Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti Admission 2020: Last Date for Registration Extended
The Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST), last date for the registration process to class 6th, has been extended by the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti. The date extension is for Phase 2 of the JNVST. Candidates can apply for the selection process from the official website, https://navodaya.gov.in/ .
Earlier the last date was 30th September 2019 whereas now it has been extended to 3rd October 2019. The website link to do the registration process is https://nvsadmissionclasssix.in .
There are 661 Vidyalayas under Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti in 28 States and 07 Union Territories, out of which 636 are currently functioning. The selection of the students will be held on 11th January 2020 and 11th April 2020 in two phases. The admit card for both the stages will be available on 1st December 2019 and 1st March 2020 respectively.
JNVST 2019 exam pattern:
- Mental ability test: 40 questions carrying 50 marks
- Arithmetic test: 20 questions carrying 25 marks
- Language test: 20 questions carrying 25 marks
Time allotted to Mental ability test is 60 minutes while 30 minutes each for arithmetic test and language test. The result of JNVST 2020 will be announced on March 2020 and May 2020 respectively. The test will be comprising of mental ability test, arithmetic test and language test in different regional languages.
