NEET PG Results 2017: All India Quota results to be declared on January 15
The National Board of Education (NBE) conducted the National Eligibility cum Entrance Examination (NEET) from December 5 to December 13, 2016. The results for the exam were announced on January 13, 2017. NEET PG was conducted in 86 centres across 41 cities in India. The NEET-PG helps candidates seek admissions in Master of Surgery (MS), Doctor of Medicine (MD), Post Graduate Diploma (Medical) and Master in Dental Surgery MDS courses. These courses are offered at private, government and state-run medical colleges.
The merit list was out on the NBE official website. Since thousands of students attempted to download their score card at the same time, the NBE website crashed. A notice with the whole list of students who have cleared the exam as been displayed at the NBE office at Ansari Nagar in Delhi.
Candidates will be given marks out of 1500. In order to qualify to seek a seat in a post-graduate medical course, here are the details:
General Category: 50 percentile= 705.9194
Persons with disability: 45 percentile= 680.0611
SC/ST/OBC Category: 40 percentile= 655.1766
However, the announcement of the merit list for the All India Quota Seats will be done on January 15, 2017.
