NMAT 2019: Exam Pattern and Section wise Syllabus
NMIMS Management Aptitude Test, popularly known as NMAT, is the gateway to top MBA colleges.
Top B schools in India, which accept NMAT 2019 scores for admission in their college are:
a) NMIMS Mumbai
b) SPJIMR Mumbai (PGMPW)
c) ISB (Certificate programme)
d)VIT Vellore
e) XIM Bhubaneswar
The above is a just list of elite schools in India. However, more than 100 B schools accept NMAT 2019 scores for admissions in India, Singapore and Philipines.
The conducting body of NMAT 2019 exam is GMAC ( Graduate Management Admission Council). The examination is a computer-based test.
The notification for NMAT 2019 was out on July 2nd 2019, and the exam dates are between October 4th and December 17th, 2019.
GMAC has released the exam pattern and syllabus for MMAT 2019. There is no significant change in syllabus and examination pattern of NMAT 2019; however, variations in the type of questions asked can be there.

EXAMINATION PATTERN FOR NMAT 2019
- The NMAT 2019 examination is a moderate difficulty level examination and will be in the online mode
- , in the MCQ format.
- Candidates will have 120 minutes, i.e. two hours to complete the examination.
- There will be 120 questions spread over three broad topics; language skill, logical reasoning and quantitative skill.
- Every question carries one mark.
- Incorrect answers do not have negative marking.
- According to the revised NMAT 2019 exam pattern, each section in 2019 NMAT, will be individually timed. The aspirants have to attempt the questions in the respective section within the allotted sectional time limit.
