NTA NET 2019: Candidates Must Know these Details
The National Testing agency has announced that the National eligibility test will be conducted on December 2, 2019. And the exam is scheduled to end on December 6, 2019. The online registration process was conducted and the eligibility criteria was announced and only the candidates who fulfilled the eligibility criteria was allowed to register for the examination.
Every year the candidates appear accordingly if they fulfill the eligibility criteria. Only the candidates who have passed the State Eligibility test will be allowed to appeared for the National Eligibility test. The expiry date of the State Eligibility test result will be fixed by the Government and the candidates eligibility criteria will be fixed accordingly.

Exam Pattern:
The UGC NET exam will consists of 2 papers. A total of 81 subjects will be asked in the 2 papers. The candidates will write the examination for 300 marks including both papers and the duration of the exam will be for 3 hours.
The candidates who are applying after the revising of the eligibility criteria has to make note of the following important dates.

For the year 2019, the eligibility criteria for the National eligibility test was fixed as, the candidates who have passed the State eligibility test before the December 2002 will be able to apply. Accordingly, the registration process has taken place.
The National Testing agency has announced on November 7, 2019 that they have made a change in the eligibility criteria for the national Eligibility test. According to the change that was made, the candidates who have passed the State eligibility test before June 2002 are also eligible to apply.
