SIMSR emerge as winners at IIM Indore’s “Imperium”
SIMSR offers a conducive environment to create winners, be it sports competitions, case study competitions or corporate events. IIM Indore had organized Imperium, a B-School Case study competition, this September, where in 8 best teams from top B-schools across India participated. Our student- team comprising Khushbu Chotalia, Ashwath Singh Raina and Arvind Srinivasan defeated the other 7 teams to emerge as winners.
Our students brilliantly faced and solved different cases to reach the pinnacle. The initial qualifying case was about building a strategy to pitch to the government to allow a village become a manufacturing hub of different textile products to support the skilled artisans living in the town. Then there was a case of a start-up wanting to integrate technology to improve customer engagement and experience.
Each level became more tedious as they progressed. Next was a case of an NGO where they had to present a strategy for their venture of an Enterprise which involved an all-female cab service. The final round comprised a case on building a suitable approach for FPOs to become self-sufficient and improve their current situation.
Speaking about their strategy for the competition, our team said that they read a lot of content and marketing strategies. They strongly believe that management concepts taught under the pedagogy of SIMSR helped them crack the cases.
SIMSR congratulates the team for their spectacular achievement and wishes them the best to win many such accolades and bring glory to the institute.
