Walk-in-interview/test 29th July 2019

The eligible candidates are requested to appear for the walk-in-interview/test on 29th July 2019 at 10:00 am. Candidates need to meet a certain set of criteria for being eligible for the posts. They are as follows:

  • Candidates who have an M.Sc degree in Chemistry/Food Chemistry/Applied Chemistry/ Analytical Chemistry/Industrial Chemistry/Food Technology in their acquisition can apply for the posts.
  • Candidates who are or less than 35 years of age as of 29 July 2019

Eligible candidates may appear for the walk-in-test/ interview carrying their resumes, recent passport size photos as well as other original documents such as identification and age proof along with them on the prescribed date. Persons who are undergoing training or were trained under the Spices Board are not eligible to apply.

The tenure for the recruited Trainee Analyst (Chemistry) post is of 24 months, i.e., two years and the decided amount of the stipend to be offered is Rs.18,000 per month. Selected candidates will be posted at Tuticorin. The recruited trainee will be allowed leave for one day per month.

The board aims on recruiting the candidates who are truly determined, competent and are showing real potential as Trainee Analyst (Chemistry). Selected candidates will get the opportunity to learn and grow under the esteemed experience and guidance of the seniors present in the Spice Board.

Constituted in the year 1987 under the Spice Board act, the Board has a state-of-the-art laboratory in its headquarters, Kochi, and other advancements and regional laboratories in other states such as Mumbai, Chennai, Delhi, and many more.
