SSC Stenographer 2019 Notification Released

On 14th September 2019, the Staff Selection Commission, Central Police Organisation issued a short notification according to which an official recruitment notification will be issued on 17th September, 2019. The notification concerns employment as Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police, Central Armed Police Force and Assistant Sub-Inspector in Central Industrial Security Force.

Candidates within the age limit of 20 to 25 years can apply for the above posts. The application procedure is entirely online and can be done through the official website which is – www.ssconline.nic.in The starting and ending dates of application are yet to be released along with other details and information relating to vacancies, procedure of application, admit card download and most importantly the date of the examination.

While it is compulsory for all candidates to have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a university or college that is generally recognised. However, for the position of a Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police, it important to hold a driver’s licence for both cars and motorcycle as on the date of the physical endurance and standard test. The lack of a valid licence can lead to the inability to take the physical endurance and standard test.

The Staff Selection Commission, Central Police Organisation 2019 examination will take place in the form of a computer based exam. It will be an objective examination with multiple choice type questions. There are two examinations that need to be cleared by a candidate along with a Physical Eligibility Test and medical examination. The examinations will be bi-lingual, that is, in two languages namely Hindi and English.

SSC CPO 2019 Recruitment

The first examination will test the candidates in the following areas –

  • General Intelligence and Reasoning
  • General Knowledge
  • Quantitative Aptitude
  • English Comprehension

After the first exam, the candidates will have to clear the physical test to qualify for the second examination. This will be of 200 marks in a online format. This exam will exclusively on the English Language and Comprehension of the candidates across 200 candidates. Both the exams will observe negative marking for every wrong answer of 0.25 marks. The application fee is of Rs 100.

  1. Sub-Inspector for CAPFs: 35,000 – 1,12,000
  2. Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police: 35,000 – 1,12,000
  3. Sub-Inspector in CISF: 29,000 – 92,000
