Hindustan Aeronautics Limited has released vacancy notification for engineers for the post of Management Trainee (Technical) and Design Trainee through GATE 2017. There are a total of 75 and 50 vacancies for both the posts respectively. Online applications for the post will be accepted from January 6, 2017 to February 7, 2017.
Candidates who wish to apply to these posts will be selected only on the basis of GATE 2017 marks. Only those with a 4-year full time engineering degree in the following disciplines will be eligible to apply;
Civil Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Electronic Engineering
Only those candidates who have appeared for GATE 2017 in one of the above mentioned disciplines will be considered eligible for recruitment.
Further, candidates (belonging to General and OBC-NC category) should have secured minimum 60% marks (aggregate marks of all semesters) in qualifying degree examinations.
Candidates appearing in a GATE paper different than that of their qualifying engineering discipline may not be considered for further selection procedure. This means, if a candidate with a graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering appears for a Civil Engineering paper in GATE 2017, his/her candidature may not be considered for further shortlisting.
