Anna University, Chennai Overview Campus Facilities

• Library

  Over 1,47,065 volumes, 12,953 SC/ST Book Bank Books, around 112 current journals, 31,000 Journal Back Volumes, and 42 magazines and newspapers make up the library’s collection. The library also contains a collection of more than 5000 electronic books and 20,000 electronic articles. Students can also borrow educational CDs from the library.

• Hostel

  Hostels offer standard amenities including water purifiers, common areas, game rooms, mess areas, TVs, laundry services, security systems, and so forth. For students accepted under the CIWGC, NRI, or FN categories, a special hostel has been built. All of the rooms have a microwave, mini-fridge, geyser, and air conditioning. In a communal area, washing machines have been put.

• Sports Complex

   

  
  At the boys’ and girls’ dormitories include basketball courts, cricket fields, football fields, swimming pools, tennis courts, hockey fields, volleyball courts, handball fields, kabaddi fields, and kho-kho fields, and table tennis labs.

There are a number of facilities available, including a civil engineering lab, a chemistry lab, a computer lab, an electrical lab, an electronics lab, a language lab, a mechanical lab, a physics lab, a research lab, a work design lab, an automation lab, a quality engineering lab, an innovation lab, and a soft skills lab.
