BIM Trichy Cutoff 2022
BIM Trichy MBA admission 2021 will end on January 31, 2022. The application process is online and the application fee is INR 1450 (950 for SC/ST). BIM Trichy will accept only the CAT 2021/XAT 2022/GMAT exam score for MBA admission along with other parameters in the final selection process. BIM MBA is one of the most coveted programmes with an annual intake of 120 students.
The expected CAT cutoff for BIM Trichy is above 87 percentile. The candidates having their name in the merit list will be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Selection process for the PhD course is based on past academic achievements and relevant work experience.

BIM MBA Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have passed Graduation or Post Graduation with minimum 50% marks in any stream.
- Candidates possessing ACA / ACWA / ACS are also eligible to apply.
- Final year students can also apply but they will be required to submit the proof of passing graduation with a minimum of 50% marks by 31st July.
BIM Trichy MBA Selection criteria
The selection procedure is conducted in two stages:
Stage 1: Shortlisting of candidates based on CAT 2020 scores. Read about BIM Trichy Preparation Tips.
Stage 2: Personal Interview (PI) and Group Discussion (GD) for shortlisted candidates.
- Candidates will be shortlisted for second stage on the basis of CAT 2020 score of the applicants. The expected CAT cutoff for shortlisting is 87+.
- On the basis of availability of candidates, the PI & GD will be conducted at Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Tiruchirappalli.
- Academic performance of the candidate in 10th standard, 12th standard, qualifying degree and relevant work experience are the other components which are verified and given weightage during the second stage of the selection process.
- The final selection for the MBA programme will be based on the performance of the candidate in all the above components.
- All the interaction regarding the admission process will be done over Mail.
NOTE: Reservation criteria is based on the rules of Govt of Tamil Nadu 18% for SC, 1% for ST, 30% for Backward Classes and 20% for Most Backward Classes.
BIM MBA Application Process
Application form is available online and can be filled by following the below-listed steps:
- Visit the official website of BIM Trichy
- Click on the Apply Now tab.
- Enter the academic, personal, work experience details.
- Upload scanned photograph, marksheets and certificates of academic records, score card of CAT and CAT registration number.
- For online registration to BIM-MBA Admissions 2021, the payment of Rs.2750/- (Rs.950/- for SC/SCA/ST candidates) can be made online. In case of DD, it should be drawn in favour of ‘Bharathidasan Institute of Management’ payable at Tiruchirappalli. Also enter the Demand Draft details while filling the form.
- Submit the application form.
- Print the application form and acknowledgement Slip for future correspondence.
Documents required for the admission process:
- Attested copies of Mark Sheet from X- Std. to last qualifying examination.
- Letter of admission to the course evidencing the duration and commencement of the course issued by the competent authority.
- Schedule of Expenses for the course (Fee Structure).
- Proof of Permanent address (Driving License, Passport or any other document issued by the state government etc.,)

Ans. Yes, BIM-MBA is a two-year full-time residential programme for all students. All students should mandatorily reside on campus.
Q. What is the geographical mix of the students at BIM?
Ans. Every batch at BIM shall have representation from more than 15 States in India.? However, about 60% of the batch may be from five southern States.
Q. How are the hostel facilities at BIM?
Ans. A 2BHK flat is allocated for four students which is pretty much spacious and convenient.
