IIM Lucknow offers PGP (MBA) course in full time mode for a duration of 2 years. The institute also offers PGP Agri-Business Management (PGP-ABM) and PGP Sustainable Management (PGP-SM) programs. Further, PGP is offered in different specializations like Finance & Accounting, Human Resource Management, Decision Sciences, Communication, and Business Environment

IIM Lucknow PGP Selection Criteria

Stage 1: Shortlisting based on CAT Score

Firstly, candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their CAT 2021 Scores. The minimum cutoff required for PGP, PGP-ABM and PGP-SM are tabulated below:

Step 2: Shortlisting for PI

Candidates shortlisted on the basis of CAT score will be called for Personal Interview. This year, WAT round is excluded from the selection process. IIM Lucknow also consider various parameters along with CAT score for shortlisting candidates for PI round and they are mentioned below:

After the PI Round, IIM Lucknow will make offers to all the selected candidates. The final selection is based on CAT, PI, Past Academic Record and Work Experience.

IIM Lucknow PGP Eligibility

• PGP/ PGP-SM: Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks or BE/ B.Tech/ Post B.Sc/ Post Diploma 
• PGP-ABM: A Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Science or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks. 

Key Points: 

• A relaxation of 5% is granted for candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ Differently Abled Candidate categories.
• Candidates appearing in the final year exams of Bachelor’s degree are also eligible to apply. 
• For PGP SM, a minimum of 2 year experience is required.

How to Apply for IIM Lucknow PGP Course?

All those who want to take admission in PGP Programmes need to Register for CAT. The steps to register are simple and students can find them in the following points:

1. Click on the Registration link after visiting https://iimcat.ac.in/.
2. Fill all the required details to generate a login id and password.
3. Now login using the generated credentials and start filling an application form.
4. After filling details, upload the scanned image of photograph and signature.
5. Pay the application fees via online mode through Net Banking, Credit Card or Debit Card.
6. Lastly, submit the application form and tick on any of the PGP specializations you wish to opt for admission.

PGPWE is a 2-year program designed to cater working Executives and is offered in both IIM Lucknow campus and Noida campus in alternative weekend mode. The IPMX program of IIM Lucknow is offered in the full-time mode for a duration of 2 years. 

IIM Lucknow PGPWE and IPMX Eligibility

• Candidates should have passed a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or an equivalent academic pursuit (i.e., 10+2+3), with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA.

• For PGPWE, Candidates should also have 3-year working experience (After Graduation) at the managerial/ executive positions.
• 5 years of executive experience after graduation on 30th March of the year of Admission is the minimum criteria for IMPX Admission.

IIM Lucknow PGP-WE Selection Criteria

Admission to PGP-WE program will be granted on the basis of a valid score in GMAT (Last 5 Years Score)/ CAT/ XAT/ GATE score. 

IIML also conducts a PGP-WE Entrance Exam for admission to the PGP-WE program. IIML PGP-WE Entrance Exam entrance test consists of 60 questions equally divided with 20 questions in 3 sections, i.e

1. Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension
2. Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning
3. Quantitative Aptitude.

The candidates who clear the cutoff criteria for admission to PGP-WE program are required to appear for Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI).

IIM Lucknow IPMX Selection Criteria

Admission to IPMX program of IIM Lucknow will be granted on the basis of GMAT Score and following Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI). The composite score will be calculated using the following components:

2. Select the PGPWE or IPMX available under Programmes tab
3. Now click on Apply option.
4. Register by providing details such as name, email id, mobile number, etc.
5. After registration, login using credentials and fill the application form
6. Pay the application fee of INR 1000/- and submit the application form.

IIM Lucknow offers 2 Year FPM course in the field of Agribusiness Management, Business Environment (Economics), Decision Sciences, Finance and Accounting, Human Resource Management, Information Technology Systems, Marketing, Operations Management, Strategic Management 

IIM Lucknow FPM Eligibility 

• FPM Applicant at IIM Lucknow should have a master’s degree with minimum of 55% aggregate marks, engineering graduates are also eligible to apply.
• IIM Lucknow also accepts applications from candidates holding CA, ICWA, and CS certificates Overall with at least 55% marks.
• Overall score (Class 10, 12, Graduate & Postgraduate) of the applicant should be more than 55% marks.
• Final year students can also apply.

IIM Lucknow FPM Selection Criteria

• Applicants will be shortlisted on the basis of their academic record and performance in the GATE/GRE/GMAT/JRF/SRF(UGC/CSIR/ICAR).
• Further, the shortlisted candidates are called for Personal Interview.
• IIM Lucknow will release the merit list containing the names of all selected students.
• The selected candidates will be intimated regarding their selection via an email.

Online Mode (Those appearing in CAT)

3. Fill the FPM Admission column in the form.
4. Pay the application fee
5. Lastly, click on the “Submit” button.

Offline Mode (Those appearing in exams other than CAT)

1. Go to the official website of IIM Lucknow
2. Click on the FPM option on the menu bar.
3. Now click on the “Apply” button on the Admission tab.
4. Download the form.
5. Start filling all the details in it.

6. After you finish filling it send the form to the given address.

IIM Lucknow EFPM is a two-year-long program offered in part-time weekend mode. For Admissions candidates are shortlisted on the basis of the Entrance Exam. Shortlisted candidates are called for a Personal Interview at any one of IIM Lucknow Campus (Lucknow/ NOIDA).

IIM Lucknow EFPM Eligibility

• Candidates are required to have a graduate degree (Non-Engineering) with a minimum of 50% marks. A postgraduate degree with 55% marks is also required. 
• For Engineering graduates, a minimum of 65% marks is the minimum eligibility criteria for admission. 
• Candidates must have a minimum of 55% marks in the class 10 and 12 exam.
• A minimum Work Experience of 7 years is required for admission to EFPM Program. 
• Candidates must have a valid score of CAT/GMAT/GATE/GRE/JRF/PGPWE Entrance test

IIM Lucknow EFPM Selection Criteria

• Admission will be granted on the basis of CAT/ GATE/ GMAT/ GRE/ JRF (Qualified)/ PGPWE Entrance Exam Score. 
• Shortlisted candidates are called for a Personal Interview at any one of IIM Lucknow Campus (Lucknow/ NOIDA).
• An exemption of 1 year and direct admission to the second year will be given to the candidates who have an MBA or equivalent degree with at least 7.0 CGPA from any of the 15 top Universities/ Institutes featured in the NIRF Ranking.
• The final selection process is based on the following three parameters:

  • Professional profile.
