IFMR GSB Sri City Offers a 2-year full-time MBA in 7 specializations – Data Science & Information Systems, Economics, Finance, Accounting & Quantitative Finance, Marketing, OB & HRM, Operations Management, and Strategic Management. 

IFMR Chennai MBA Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline from a recognised institution with 60% aggregate.
• Applicants with a degree from Open or Distance Learning Institutions are also
• Those born on January 1, 1993 and not after December 31, 2000 are eligible to apply.
• Work experience is not mandatory. For working professionals the work experience must be a minimum of 3 years.

IFMR Chennai MBA Selection Criteria

The selection is based on either CAT / XAT / CMAT / GRE / GMAT scores. Along with this, a two-stage process for selection is followed:

STAGE I: Application Screening

Applicants must fulfill the following criteria to be eligible for the next round:

• Class X scores: 60% 
• Class XII scores: 60%
• Graduation: 60%
• Work Experience:
  • Working professionals Round (WPR): 1 to 3 years of experience
  • General Round (GR): 0 – 36 months of experience

STAGE II: WAT & PI Round

• Applicants would be intimated about their selection for this round via email.

• Master’s degree with 55% aggregate/ 5-year Integrated master’s or dual degree in a relevant discipline with 55% aggregate marks.
• Professional qualification holding CA, ICWA, CS with 50% marks in the qualifying examinations.

IFMR Chennai PhD Selection Criteria

• The applications will be screened including the educational background, research aptitude and publications.
• They would be called for RAT (Research Aptitude Test) followed by an interview.
• Those with UGC-NET or JRF scores will be directly called for an interview.
