Admission to Jadavpur University
Admissions to Jadavpur University for undergraduate courses are expected to begin in June 2022. The university is currently accepting applications for the 1-year PG Diploma in Human Rights courses. The application forms must be submitted by March 15, 2022. Candidates can apply online at the university’s official website.
Jadavpur University (JU) is a public state technical and research university in Kolkata that is accredited by NCTE, COA, AICTE, UGC, and AIU and offers more than 20 recognised courses at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels. Jadavpur University’s flagship programme is B.Tech (Computer Science and Engineering) because of its consistently high placement rate in the respective specialisation. Candidates must pass the 10+2 level examination with a minimum required percentage of 45 percent in the aggregate in order to be admitted to the B.tech. Course.
Aside from B.Tech, admission to other UG and PG courses is based on either an entrance examination or merit scores. For B.Tech and M.Tech admissions, Jadavpur University also accepts the merit scores of various state and national level entrance examinations such as WBJEE and GATE. Admission to the Ph.D. programme, on the other hand, is based on a university-conducted entrance exam and interview.

Criteria for PG Admission to Jadavpur University
- The primary requirement for admission to PG courses is a UG degree in the relevant specialisation.
- Candidates for M.Sc. and M.Tech. must have a B.Sc. and B.Tech. from a recognised university.
