JAGSOM Bangalore offers a full-time PGDM program equivalent to MBA in various specializations along with an Executive PGDM course. These courses are offered to regular and working professionals under full-time as well as part-time modes. The PGDM course specializations include General, Finance, Marketing, International Business (IB), Data Science, and PGDM for Working Professionals. The minimum eligibility to apply for the program is a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.

The duration of PGDM course and EPGDM course offered by Jagdish Sheth School of Management is 2 years and 15 Months respectively. 

Admission to the PGDM course is done on the basis of XAT/ CAT/ GMAT score. In the case of Executive PGDM, merit in the qualifying examination will be considered for admission. Final admission to the course is granted on the basis of performance of the shortlisted candidates in essay writing and personal interview round. 

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate of 50% for all subjects taken together (45% for SC/ST candidates) 
• Candidates should have two years of working experience.
• Candidates should have a valid score card in CAT/GMAT or XAT

JAGSOM Bangalore PGDM Selection Process:

First of all, the candidates have to qualify in any one of the CAT/ XAT or GMAT entrance tests. Final selection is based on different components introduced by Jagdish Sheth School of Management.

1. Innovation Potential Test (IPT): A 30 minutes’ class test where shortlisted candidates have to showcase their innovation potential by answering MCQs along with descriptive questions.
2. Group Exercise (GE): Group activities for the duration of 30 minutes where candidates are accessed on the basis of their approach towards an appropriate solution to a given problem.
3. Personal Interview (PI): A personal interview for 30 minutes in order to identify whether a candidate is a value fit or not. This round consists of a total of 3 panelists.
4. Academic Record: Evaluation of candidate’s consistency in academics with respect to percentage of marks starting from class X.
5. Work Experience (if any): Candidates with prior relevant work experience will be given an advantage at the time of final selection.

JAGSOM Bangalore PGDM Application Process 2022

Application form for Jagdish Sheth School of Management can be filled online by following the below-listed steps:

1. Visit the official website of JAGSOM Bangalore and click on ‘New User Registration’.
2. Fill the requested details and click on ‘Save & Continue’.
3. After registration, you will receive an email regarding your User ID and Password.
4. Login by using your ID and Password followed by the payment of application fee (INR 2000).
5. Fill other details like Education Details, Employment History etc. and click on the ‘Submit’ button after previewing the application.

Payment of Application Fee:

Application fee of INR 2000 can be paid through one of the four available payment methods.

1. Payment through Credit/ Debit Card
2. Payment through Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favour of “ Centre for Developmental Education” Payable at Bangalore.

In the case of payment through DD, take the printout of duly filled form and send it to the institute’s address along with attested marks sheets and valid scorecards.

Jagdish Sheth School of Management offers UG courses BBA, BBA-CMA, BCA, BA Journalism, B.Com, B.Com(ACA)in many specializations. Candidates can choose the specializations in BBA mainly Marketing, Finance and Human Resource Management. The duration of all the UG courses are 3 years. B.Com course specializations include Accounting & Taxation, Finance, Marketing, & Human Resource. The final selection in the UG courses are based on the personal interview of the candidates.

• Candidates should clear the 10+2 by 60% aggregate marks.
• For BBA-CMA course candidates should have clear a plus 2 / Indian School Certificate / Intermediate Certificate/Higher School Certificate/ Higher Secondary

Jagdish Sheth School of Management offers a M.Com course of the duration 2 year programme for careers in Banking, Insurance, Financial Markets, Accounting and Academics. The final selection is based on the candidate’s performance in the personal interview.

Eligibility

The candidate should be passed the Bachelors examination in B.Com. / BBA (BBM) degree examination of Bangalore University or equivalent from any recognized University or its equivalent examination and secured minimum 50% marks (45% in the case of SC/ST marks in the aggregate in Commerce subjects.

Jagdish Sheth School of Management offers Ph.D. program in Management in recognition with VTU. Candidates can complete the Ph.D. in the specialization in Management. Admission to Ph.D. is based on Research Aptitude Test conducted by the VTU followed by an interview round. 

Eligibility

• Master’s degree in the cognate stream with 50% marks in aggregate.
• Candidates should need to clear the VTU Aptitude Test.
