Selection Criteria for M.Tech at Sastra University

Admission to M.Tech is based on the marks obtained in the undergraduate degree from SASTRA University or any other comparable university. Candidates who have taken the GATE exam are given preference.

Eligibility for PhD Admission to Sastra University

SASTRA University accepts the following candidates for its PhD programme:

• Candidates must have a Master’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Management, Pharmacy, Science, Arts, or Computer Applications with a minimum aggregate of 55%.
• Candidates who have completed CA and have at least two years of experience.
• Students with a Bachelor’s degree and a GPA of at least 60% are considered for direct PhD programmes.

• Admission is based on the student’s academic record and availability in the stream.
• The written test and interview results are used to make admission decisions by the selection committee.
