Symbiosis Institute of Operations Management offers a full-time MBA (Operations) program with a duration of 2 years.

SIOM Eligibility

  • Candidate should be an Engineering Graduate (BE/ B Tech of any stream) from a statutory University with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates).
  • Candidates appearing for final year examinations can also apply, but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in the qualifying examination.
  • A candidate who has completed qualifying qualification from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

SIOM Selection Process: 

Admission to MBA Operations Management program offered by SIOM will be conducted on the basis of SNAP score followed by Written Assessment Test (WAT), Group Exercise (GE) and Personal Interaction (PI). The selection process consists of the following stages:

  • Written Assessment Test (WAT)

In this stage, shortlisted candidates will be given a written assignment/ essay/topical write-up to be completed in 10 minutes. They will be judged on their written communication skills like the content, language, grammar, presentation etc. for 10 marks.

  • Group Exercise

At stage 2, Candidates will be given an exercise /activity to be completed in group within a specified time. They will be assessed for 30 marks on their communication skills, team working, problem-solving ability, etc.

  • Eligibility Document verification

In this stage, documents of eligible candidates will be verified. Applicants are requested to arrive along with the original documents pertaining to all information submitted in their application form particularly education, achievement as mentioned in the interview call letter.

  • Personal Interview

The personal interview process will carry 60 marks.

SIOM MBA Agri – Operations Management Admission 2023

The institute offers admission to MBA in Agri – Operations Management. There is an intake of 30 students in these programs every year.

Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks from any recognized University. 

Selection Process: Admission is granted on the basis of SNAP scores, accompanied by Group Exercise, Personal Interview & a Written Ability Test (GE-PIWAT) 

Admission to this program is merit-based. The minimum qualification to apply for the program is a Bachelor’s Degree with 50% marks from a recognized university.

SIOM Nashik Application How to Apply?

SIOM offers an online mode of application for PGDOM program for which candidates must follow the given steps:

  1. Visit the official website of the institute and click on ‘PGDOM Registrations’ on the home page. 
  2. Click on ‘New Registration’ to register as a new candidate. 
  3. Login with unique SIUDPGPD ID and password and fill the application form carefully. 
  4. Pay the application fees via any of the mode: Net Banking or DD. 
  5. Preview your application before submitting and click on Submit button. 

Application Process for SNAP (MBA):

  1. Visit the official website of the institute and click on Admission tab.
  2. Next, click on MBA Operations tab and then go to SNAP Test.
  3. Select SIOM Nashik and pay INR 1000 in favour of SIOM Nashik.
  4. A new page will open where click on the link given for Online Registration for SNAP. 
  5. Candidates can also directly login to snaptest.org to register. 
  6. Fill the form online and upload passport size photograph of not more than 3 months old. 
  7. Pay the application fees via Net Banking or DD which must be in favour of ‘Symbiosis Test Secretariat’ payable at Pune. 
  8. In case of offline mode, choose DD Payment as a mode of payment in Make Payment tab. 
  9. Take the print out of form, and send it with DD to:

Application Fees for SNAP:

  • Online Mode: INR 1950 (+applicable GST, Payment Gateway charges and other)
  • DD: INR 2265 (INR 1950 as SNAP Test Fees and INR 315 as GST and any other taxes)
