WSB Hyderabad Admission Procedure:
Admission Test:
Woxsen School of Business (WSB)conduct Woxsen Admissions Test (An on-line/paper exam that shall be offered from September 1st of every year till 31st of May of the subsequent year. However, if the seats for any given year are filled, the test score shall be considered for admission into the next year’s program. The scores are valid for two years. WSB accept scores from
CAT/XAT/NMAT/MAT AND GMAT/GRE/CMAT.
The scores shall be seen along with other factors as mentioned above and a low score does not automatically disqualify any candidate. However, a high score in any of the above-mentioned tests will make one eligible for a scholarship up to 100% tuition fees waiver, provided one submits an application with evidence of strong all-round skills and abilities.
Academic Record:
WSB Hyderabad accept students from all backgrounds as long as they have an undergraduate degree with a minimum of 60% marks in the 10th standard, 12th standard and in the undergraduate degree. However, we recognize the fact that it is highly difficult to get high scores in certain streams and in certain universities. We, therefore, arrive at an equivalent score after
normalizing the scores based on the highest and lowest marks issued by that particular board/university. We encourage students from non-engineering and non-business backgrounds to apply and offer a 5% scholarship to them, and to all girl students in addition to any other scholarship they obtain because of their merit, to enhance the diversity of the class.
Admission Essay:
It is very important for students to take the opportunity to submit a “Statement of Purpose” to be considered for the Woxsen Merit Scholarships. The students are advised to talk through the essay and explicitly state what compels them to do a Post Graduate Program in business Management at this stage of their life, their short term and long-term goals and their accomplishments till date including those at work place if they have any professional experience. (Part time work shall not be considered.)
