Candidates who have passed or are attempting the 12th standard with a minimum of 75% marks, which is the JEE main eligibility mark, are eligible to take the JEE main 2022 exam.

The key qualifying requirement for the JEE exam is that there is no age limit for individuals who wish to take the exam. Candidates must have completed their 12th grade or qualifying exam in 2020 or 2021. Candidates who will be taking the 12th grade or an equivalent qualifying examination in 2022 can also apply for the JEE main exam.

Candidates are allowed to take the JEE Examination for three years in a row. Despite the fact that the test will be held twice a year, candidates may appear for both attempts, and the attempt for the year will be counted as one.
