Plz do let us know if anybody is able to get the WL number from admission office. I tried calling yesterday and today but either the number is busy or nobody pics up the call.
Or is there any other way by which we get the WL , if yes please share.

i called BIm What i guessed is correct Today is a holiday in BIM so they asked me to try Monday ............................................ So wait patiently

me too in waiting list.. to know the status u got to call bim admission office and ask them.. btw they arent working today.. so call them on monday.

Dude I am not a senior.... From last year's thread i understand that the wait list movement for OC moved till 70 odd seats .I presume this time it ill be still more since we have two more IIMs and people opting for that will be more..i want to know about the waitlist movement for BC because that will be difficult compared to OC..OC movement will be faster dont worry yar!!!!!!!!!!!!:drinking:

Hey.. I found out from one of the last year threads the waitlist movement went up to 73.....he himself has confirmed it...But the sliding will be very late....... so just chiiillll.........

I have been selected both in IIT Kanpur and BIM Trichy....(So in confusion)

Some1 please help me in knowing the best of the 2 insts.....

I heard both are almost same....I am adding the parameters that I know....

BIM:

Good placements
Good faculty
Good ranking
Old institute(started in 1986)
Cons:
Dono (really)

IIT Kanpur:
Pros:
Brand name
Placements
Batch strength (very less)
more exposure
Cons:
not seperate insti
very new

I think locationwise both r in same postion
And BIM fees is more compared to IIT Kanpur

Puys pls pour you opinions abt this....

Last year the BC waitlist moved upto 29 ..I checked this site may be it can be slightly more than that
